The Ghana Police Service has arrested three people in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, Accra, on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
In a statement issued via its Facebook page on Sunday, October 19, the Accra Regional Police Command announced that investigations have begun into the incident, and efforts are underway to arrest others involved.
“The Accra Regional Police Command has commenced investigations into a shooting incident that occurred yesterday, October 18, 2025, at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, Accra.”
“Three persons have so far been arrested in connection with the incident, while efforts are ongoing to arrest any other persons involved,” the police said.
Police authorities did not disclose details about the circumstances leading to the shooting incident, the identities of those arrested or any casualty recorded.
It noted that investigations are ongoing and that further updates will be shared in due course.
The Celebrity Golf Club, located in Sakumono within the Tema West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, is a well-known recreational facility frequented by both local and international visitors.
