Some motorcyclists who went on a demonstration against the arrest of a colleague at the Tesano Divisional Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) have been arrested.

The suspects Lovinghananews.com gathered will be arraigned before court today, 9th October 202,5, though the charges to be preferred against them remain unknown.

According to Lovinghananews.com sources, Forty-Six (46), being led by one Ebenezer Ankomah who claimed to be the leader of the Courier Services Association and suspect rider Banisa Joseph invaded the Tesano Divisional MTTD premises, blowing their horns in protest against the arrest and prosecution of their member, who was arrested in a swoop.

The riders were reported to have parked their motorbikes and marched towards the MTTD office, threatening mayhem if their colleague was not released. In the ensuing melee, the police managed to arrest six others and all the forty-six motorbikes were impounded.

Meanwhile, the leader and the six others have been handed over to the Divisional CID for further investigation and are expected to be arraigned before court later today.
