Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, NPP’s 2024 running mate, says the party’s election loss came from a breakdown of trust with Ghanaians.
Speaking on Joy News, he admitted the government didn’t listen to citizens’ concerns, leading to a heavy political price.
He acknowledged global challenges like soaring prices and economic shocks, but stressed that the real mistake was internal: ignoring public voices.
“We assumed too much and listened too little,” he said, noting how trust once broken is hard to repair.
