The Ghana Education Service (GES) has reassured teachers across the country following growing concerns about the 2025 teacher promotion registration process.
In a press release issued on Thursday, August 21, the Service acknowledged two major issues raised by educators:
Ensuring that all eligible teachers, particularly those last promoted or appointed in or before 2021, are included.
Addressing widespread technical difficulties affecting access to the online registration platform.
GES emphasised that no eligible teacher will be left out, clarifying:
“The application is open to all teachers who received their last promotion or appointment in or before 2021.”
The Service admitted to technical challenges affecting the online portal, which left many applicants frustrated. However, it assured teachers that the platform is currently undergoing improvements to resolve these issues.
“The Management takes full responsibility for the technical challenge and will solve it,” the statement said, urging teachers to remain calm and patient.
Reiterating its commitment to fairness, GES stressed that its goal is to guarantee a credible promotion process.
“No teacher due for promotion will be left behind,” the release concluded
