Homecoming Festival touches down in Accra with the official launch and pop-up experience for the new HOMECOMING x Nike Air Max Plus.
The experience kicked off with a takeover at Free The Youth Ghana, where the collaboration was unveiled alongside a curated mix of brands. The energy was instant, pairs from the new Air Max release sold out on the spot. But beyond the drop, it felt like something bigger: a cultural link-up connecting community, style, and the shared pulse of two cities in one space.

The HOMECOMING x Air Max Plus arrives loud. Dropped in two colorways, Black and Safety Orange, the sneaker features a snakeskin-textured toe box layered over wide-gauge mesh. Its standout detail is the lacing system: an external cage stretching from the midsole across the vamp, threaded with multicolored laces that nod to pan- African identity. It’s a silhouette built on movement, culture, and statement.
Founded in 2018 by Grace Ladoja, Homecoming has grown into a multi- disciplinary platform spanning music, fashion, art, film, and sport championing the global rise of African creativity. Now, it returns to the continent once again, spotlighting the next wave of talent before the rest of the world catches up.
