THERE WAS A TIME I WAS MORE AFRAID OF IMPREGNATING A WOMAN THAN EVEN HIV— Kwaku Manu

Kwaku Manu has talked candidly about his former relationship anxieties, stating that he was once again more worried about getting pregnant than getting HIV and cautioning men to choose partners carefully.

The actor discussed a time in his life when he was extremely cautious about relationships in an interview with Zionfelix, characterizing some women as potentially detrimental to men’s lives and fortunes.

There was a time I was more afraid of getting a woman pregnant than even HIV. I would go everywhere with protection, sometimes even to church. You have to be very careful about the person you choose to have a child with, because the wrong choice can affect your life significantly,

He claimed that tales of guys who were financially secure yet ended up in challenging circumstances after having children with partners they subsequently regretted influenced his thoughts.

There are well-to-do men who can provide for their children, but they end up with the wrong partners, and it creates serious problems

Kwaku Manu also discussed his opinions on contemporary partnerships, saying that he dislikes long-distance unions because he thinks they frequently fail due to a lack of physical intimacy.
“Personally, I don’t support long-distance marriages. Over time, everything becomes centred on video calls, and that can affect the strength of the relationship,” he noted.
