Former Vice President of Ghana and 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has insisted that he is the Prepared, Formidable and Winnable candidate for the NPP in the 2028 elections.
He made this known during his tour of the Ashanti Region, which started on September 10 and is expected to end on September 12.
To him, none of the people who are vying for the flagbearer position are as prepared for the job as he has been prepared indicating that he will lead the party to victory in the 2028 elections.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who made this known in a post shared via social media after Day 2 of his tour of the region said “Day 2 of my zonal Constituency Executives Engagement in Ashanti Region was an opportunity to reignite the spirit of the Party at the grassroots, especially in the heartbeat of the NPP.
I continued to share my vision for the Party and Ghana, and underscored the reasons why I am the most Prepared, Formidable and Winnable candidate for the NPP in the 2028 elections”
He called on all members of the New Patriotic Party to come on board his bus to help the NPP win power in 2028.
“Let us all #WinWithBawumia #Bawumia2028“.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will go to the polls on January 31, 2026 to elect a flagbearer for the 2028 elections.
The party’s decision to hold an early congress is to douse the tension that’s currently in the party and to unite towards taking back power in the 2028 elections.
