Support Fund for Helicopter Crash Victims’ Kids Hits GHS 6.5 Million

Donations for the children of victims of the August 6 helicopter crash have so far reached GHS6,583,600 and US$20,000.

A statement from the Coordinator of the Fund and Senior Presidential Advisor on Governmental Affairs, Dr. Valerie Sawyerr, said individuals and organizations made donations between September 1 and 11, 2025.

The fund was set up to provide support for the children left behind by the victims of the crash.

4. Nana Victoria Akyaa Afriyie-Abrokwa

11. Ghana Commercial Bank

Donations can still be made to the Children’s Support Fund through Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited (Stanbic Heights Branch, Accra). The account details are:

USD Account: 9040013628534

Cheques and bank drafts should be addressed to CHILDREN SUPPORT FUND 6825. Mobile money (MoMo) payments are also accepted through designated platforms.
