Four people are reportedly in critical condition after a gas explosion early Wednesday morning near the Sanbra Hotel at Adum in Kumasi.
The incident happened around 5:50 a.m. on September 24, 2025, while a food vendor and her team were getting ready to start the day’s cooking.
Eyewitnesses say they heard a loud explosion and rushed to the area, where they found the victims badly injured. All four were taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for medical care.
The Ghana National Fire Service has launched investigations into the cause of the explosion.
