The Ministry of Health has announced a 50% reduction in admission fees for Nursing and Allied Health Training students, beginning with the 2025/2026 academic year. The move, part of government’s new “No-Fee-Stress” Policy, is aimed at easing the financial burden on parents and students. By this policy, government will absorb half of the approved fees for all first-year students entering nursing and allied health institutions across the country. The Adansi Traditional Council has called on the government to develop the Sikaman Brofoyedru helicopter crash site in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region into a national monument and tourist attraction to honour the memory of the eight navy officers and politicians who lost their lives.
