The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has refuted claims by the Importers and Exporters Association of Ghana (IEAG) that Customs officials failed to follow due procedures in the auctioning of perishable goods at the ports. According to a statement dated Thursday, August 27, 2025, the Authority described as “erroneous” suggestions that importers are entitled to 60 days to clear perishable cargo. The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for Denver International Airport on Tuesday evening. The advisory was in effect until 7:15 p.m. The advisory was also in effect for parts of eastern Arapahoe County and Adams County. Strong thunderstorms produced 1 to 2 inches of heavy rain in a very short period of time across approximately a 22 mile stretch from Aurora and Denver’s airport up into southern Weld County. An Alabama death row inmate’s murder conviction has been called into question by recent forensic tests that show another man’s DNA on the victim’s body.
