A High Court in Accra (Human Rights Division), presided over by Justice Nana Brew, has placed a perpetual injunction on freelance investigative journalist Innocent Samuel Appiah, restraining him from publishing or disseminating allegations against private individual Cynthia Adjei, following a privacy breach suit. In addition to the injunction, the court awarded costs of GH¢10,000 against the journalist. The ruling effectively bars Mr Appiah from pursuing any investigative publications or commentary linked to the subject matter of the case, whether directly or indirectly, across both traditional and digital media platforms. In delivering the decision, Justice Brew held that while press freedom…

Basically every color imaginable. Even Thomas Nast, the illustrator who shaped the modern Santa, switched between outfits. Then in 1931, Coca-Cola hired artist Haddon Sundblom to paint a warm, friendly Santa for their holiday ads. He dressed him in bright Coca-Cola red and Coke blasted that image across magazines, newspapers, and billboards worldwide. By the 1950s, all the old versions disappeared. Not because they were wrong but because Coke’s campaign became the global default. The Santa we picture today isn’t ancient tradition. He’s one of the most successful branding wins in history. His life took a new turn in 1930 when he was hired by the Downtown Athletic Club in Manhattan to elevate college football through awards…
In the mid-2000s, The Game was one of the biggest artists in the world, with his debut album The Documentary debuting at number one on Billboard and producing four massive songs at the same time. The project became one of the most important West Coast albums post-2000, arriving when New York and the South completely dominated mainstream rap. What made The Documentary special was timing and infrastructure. 50 Cent helped executive produce the album while G-Unit was the biggest brand in music, leading Interscope to put real money behind a rollout that felt unavoidable. Still, the music didn’t feel manufactured.…
At the time, retailers were fighting for Christmas foot traffic. Most handed out coloring books to kids. Montgomery Ward wanted something they could own. So they asked an in-house copywriter, Robert L. May, to create a Christmas character. May wrote a short story about a shy reindeer with a glowing red nose, an outcast who saves Christmas when no one else can. The store printed over 2 million free Rudolph booklets and handed them out in stores. Kids loved it. Parents remembered where it came from. A retail promo suddenly had real emotional meaning about being different, inclusion, and redemption.…
