Two of the eight victims of the Adansi Akrofuom military helicopter crash will be buried on Sunday, August 10, in line with Islamic traditions that require prompt burial. The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the CAA Region II Senior Athletics Championship has announced a change in the event’s dates to 18 and 19 August 2025, instead of the originally scheduled 15 and 16 August.
