The Ghana Police Service has arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery incident that occurred at Spintex, Accra, in the early hours of September 14, 2025. Ten stolen vehicles from the Netherlands have been recovered in Ghana through a joint effort between the Ghana Police Service, the Netherlands Embassy, and security firm Digitpol. US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order slapping a $100,000 (about GH¢1.5 million) annual fee on applicants to the H-1B visa programme, America’s main pathway for skilled foreign workers.
