The Court of Appeal has cleared former Denkyira Obuasi Assemblyman, William Baah, ruling that the evidence used to jail him was weak and inconsistent.
Baah was earlier sentenced to life in prison, along with 11 others, for their alleged roles in the murder of Major Adams Mahama.
But the Appeal Court said the jury was misdirected and key witness testimonies did not match.
