GHANA’S CID BOSS, COP LYDIA DONKOR ELECTED TO INTERPOL AFRICA COMMITTEE AS FIRST GHANAIAN AND ONLY FEMALE MEMBER

COP Lydia Yaako Donkor has been officially elected as a member of the Interpol Africa Committee.

Lydia Yaako Donkor is a Ghanaian lawyer and police officer. She serves as a Commissioner of Police and the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.

Lydia Yaako Donkor is also Chair of the Police Ladies Football Club and Chairperson of the Safety and Security Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

Donkor is a strong advocate for gender equity and human rights. She holds memberships in the Ghana Bar Association and the Police Ladies Association.
