Members of Aglow International, a global women’s ministry, have gathered to offer prayers of repentance for Ghana, calling on God to forgive the nation for its many transgressions.
In a heartfelt session, the women confessed what they described as the nation’s deep-seated sins, including bloodshed, corruption, immorality, greed, injustice, misuse of power, and spiritual complacency.
“We have sinned and committed iniquity. We want to ask God to forgive us for the bloodshed, corruption, immorality, greed, injustice, misuse of power, and spiritual complacency. God has mercy on Ghana and its leaders,” They said in their Prayer.
They acknowledged that as a people, they have fallen short, admitting, “We have been wicked as your people.”
The group also lifted prayers for the nation’s economy and the urgent need for job creation, asking for divine intervention to ease the burdens of ordinary Ghanaians.
Additionally, the women called for the law to clamp down on misinformation and disinformation, which they believe have fueled division and chaos in the country.
For Aglow International, the path to national healing begins with acknowledging wrongdoing and seeking divine mercy.
