Kennedy Agyapong’s known strength is talking down on opponents, not policy—Dr. Ayamga Adongo

Development economist and Deputy Chief Executive of the Environmental Protection Authority, Dr Micheal Ayamga Adongo, has questioned Kennedy Agyapong’s contribution to policy, given his long stay in parliament.

According to him, all Kennedy Agyapong is known for is his attacks on people who have been given contracts over him.

He argues that there is no known policy in the past during his time in Parliament that he is known to be a proponent of.

Dr Michael Ayamga Adongo was speaking on Accra-based Joy News when he made this known.

“Kennedy has been one of the longest-serving MPs in this country. You just need to look at what he has been doing in this country; he is just known for sitting on TV and taking down his opponents, people who have won contracts and defeated him in a bid.

He’s gone to his radio and talks them down and rips them apart; that is what he is known for not following up policy. Give me one policy that you remember Kennedy Agyapong forcefully articulating on the floor of Parliament given all his years,” he said on Accra-based Joy Prime TV.

“Show me where Kennedy Agyapong has advocated policies with the years he has served in Parliament,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Kwasi Kwarteng who speaks for Kennedy Agyapong indicated that there is no policy better and bigger than creating jobs for the teeming unemployed youth in Ghana and that is what Kennedy Agyapong specializes in.
