Ghanaian media personality turned Uber driver, Nana Yaa Brefo, has made a public appeal to Ghanaians living in the United States to support her with job opportunities as she settles into life abroad.
In a video shared on her official social media pages, Nana Yaa Brefo disclosed that she is currently available for Master of Ceremony (MC) roles at various events. She stated that she is open to hosting weddings, naming ceremonies, funerals, and corporate programmes across the United States. She also added that she is available for event blogging, including covering and promoting events through posts on her social media platforms.
According to her, she is flexible with her charges and does not demand high fees for such services, making herself accessible to individuals and organisations in need of an MC.
Beyond event hosting, she also reached out to Ghanaians who own radio stations in the United States, expressing her readiness to return to the media space. She noted that she remains passionate about broadcasting and would welcome opportunities to work again in that field.
Nana Yaa Brefo further called on Ghanaian business owners, especially those based in Maryland, where she currently resides, to consider collaborating with her. She noted that although some people have already reached out to her and expressed their willingness to help, she does not want it to appear as though she is in a rush or overly eager.
Nana Yaa explained that she has always been adventurous and hardworking, even during her time in Ghana, and remains confident in her ability to gradually find her footing while exploring opportunities in the United States.
She concluded her message by urging Ghanaians and netizens in the U.S. to support her by linking her to opportunities that would help her adjust and thrive in her new environment.
