A new survey by Global InfoAnalytics indicates that most Ghanaians believe their standard of living has improved under the new government compared to a year ago, though optimism about the future has slightly weakened.
The September 2025 poll shows that 57% of voters say their living standards have improved in the past year.
This represents a marginal decline of two points from the July poll, which recorded 59%.
11% of the respondents said their standard of living had declined, down from 12% in July, while the majority of voters in all regions reported improvements year-on-year.
Looking to the future, 67% of voters said they expect their standard of living to improve over the next 12 months, compared to 72% in July. Meanwhile, 20% said they do not anticipate any improvement, up from 16% in the previous survey.
Despite the slight decline, Global InfoAnalytics noted that optimism remains strong nationwide, with majorities in all regions expressing confidence in both their current conditions and future prospects.
Meanwhile, on the issue of corruption, the poll found that 53% of voters believe corruption levels are improving, down from 60% in July. Sixteen percent said corruption is worsening, up from 13%, while 24% said the situation remains the same, compared to 20% in July.
The survey also showed that a majority of voters in all regions believe corruption levels have improved compared to a year ago.
