President John Dramani Mahama is set to officially launch a novel Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) framework for Ghana’s ambassadors at the upcoming Conference of Heads of Mission, scheduled to take place from September 1 to 5, 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Accra.

The announcement was shared by Minister for Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on his social media platforms ahead of the event.

According to him, this marks a historic first in Ghana’s diplomatic practice, as ambassadors will now be dispatched with a clear, measurable performance framework to help achieve the President’s Reset Vision for Ghana.

“President Mahama to launch our novel KPIs for Ambassadors at tomorrow’s Conference of Heads of Mission.

For the first time in our country’s history, Ambassadors will be sent out with a measurable performance framework to assist the President achieve his Reset Vision for Ghana,” Ablakwa wrote.
