‘Growing up in Accra is a big part of who I am. I’m very proud of where I’m from, and most of my values come from the upbringing I had there. It will always be a part of me. My biggest memory growing up in Ghana is playing for my local team in Nima, Accra.’

Mohammed’s local team in Nima was Strong Tower FC. He joined the club at around ten years old after being discovered playing street football by the team’s manager, Joshua ‘Ayoba’ Awuah.
He played at the Kawukudi Park for Strong Tower FC before joining Right to Dream Academy in 2012.
