Renowned Ghanaian traditional musician Michael Adangba and the President of the Paga Youth Movement (PAYOM), Mr. Duriyem Wenawome Aborah, have extended their support to Asakia, the Upper East Regional representative in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) pageant, ahead of the highly anticipated grand finale scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the National Theatre in Accra.
The visit was aimed at motivating and encouraging the talented young contestant as she prepares for her final performance in the prestigious cultural pageant.
Michael Adangba and Mr. Aborah commended Asakia for her resilience, confidence, and impressive delivery throughout the competition.
They lauded her for consistently showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Upper East Region and for representing her people with grace and authenticity.
As a gesture of support, Michael Adangba presented a cash donation of GHC 3,000 to assist Asakia in her final preparations, while Mr. Aborah, on behalf of the Paga Youth Movement, presented an additional GHC 1,000 to bolster her campaign.
Expressing her heartfelt appreciation, Asakia thanked both the traditional musician and the youth movement for their generosity, encouragement, and unwavering support. She noted that their visit had reignited her determination to make the Upper East Region proud on the national stage.
“I am deeply grateful to Michael Adangba and Mr. Aborah for their kindness and encouragement. Their support means a lot to me, and I’m more inspired than ever to give my all on Sunday,” she said.
