The Nkoranzaman Coronation, honoring the 4th Nkoranza Traditional Ruler, Nana Kwame Baffoe IV and his mother, the 3rd Nkoranza Traditional Queen Mother, Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III, has been officially launched, marking a significant milestone in the Nkoranza traditional area in the BonoEastRegion.
The event, which celebrates a year of peace and harmony, aims to set the pace for the launch of the development of Nkoranza and a Homecoming, by Nkoranzaman Progressive Forum.
Chairman of the Nkoranzaman Progressive Forum, and the planning committee, Nana Kwabena Adomako in his address, emphasized the importance of unity, reconciliation, dignity, and progress, stating that “peace is not nearly the absence of conflict, but a foundation on which kingdoms, traditions, and development flourish”.
The coronation is scheduled to take place on April 4, 2026, and will be followed by a homecoming event.
The planning committee has outlined strategic roadmaps, including calls for unity among all royal gates, families, and stakeholders, as well as reconciliation where misunderstandings exist.
