The Old students group of Anglican JHS in Nkoranza, Bono East Region, has demonstrated their commitment to giving back to their alma mater with a generous donation.

The group presented assorted items, including jerseys, footballs, volleyballs, sanitary pads, soft drinks, and bottled water, worth over GHS 5,000, to the school in preparation for their school league.

According to Seth Amoah, Secretary of the Old Students Association, the group is dedicated to supporting their former school, recognizing the solid foundation laid by the staff.

“The school has some challenges, including lack of electricity, inadequate water systems, and dilapidated roofing sheets, which we are poised to address,” Amoah stated.

The old students were grateful to themselves in partnership for the support in gathering the items for the gesture.

The Head Teacher of Nkoranza Anglican JHS, Bernard Apagya-Arthur, receiving the items expressed the school’s gratitude, acknowledging it as a significant contribution to reducing the school’s burden.

He appealed for further support to patch classroom floors and repair leaky roofs.

He concluded that the old students association’s gesture is a testament to their appreciation for their alma mater and their willingness to make a positive impact.
