Veteran Kumawood actor Paa George has expressed disappointment in actress Emelia Brobbey, accusing her of ignoring his calls despite the support he claims to have given her earlier in her career.
In an interview aimed at debunking rumours about his death, the veteran actor used the opportunity to open up about his frustrations, warning the actress not to wait until he dies before publicly mourning him.
Paa George alleged that although Emelia Brobbey is often seen as kind and philanthropic in public, especially on camera, his personal experience with her has been different.
According to him, he played a role in supporting the actress during her early days in the Kumawood movie industry, but she has since failed to reciprocate the gesture.
He revealed that due to his deteriorating health, he has tried on several occasions to reach out to the actress for assistance, but she does not pick up his calls or respond to his messages.
The actor further noted that aside from their professional relationship, they both hail from Akyem, which he believed should have strengthened their bond.
Paa George added that while Emelia Brobbey has not responded to his calls, other people he least expected help from, including actress Ellen Kyei White, have supported him during his difficult period.
