The Accra Regional Police Command has commenced investigations into a shooting incident that occurred yesterday, 18th October 2025, at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, Accra.
A statement from the police said three persons have since been arrested.
However, efforts are ongoing to arrest any other persons involved.
It will be remembered that Stephen Atubiga, in a post shared via social media, called on the president and other leaders in the country to offer him protection.
He, in the post, indicated that his life was threatened by land guards and escaped with the support of his security and his driver.
Atubiga disclosed that he will have to leave Ghana because he cannot be assured of his protection, considering the gun battle he experienced at the Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, Accra.
