President John Dramani Mahama and his brother Ibrahim Mahama reportedly promised to fund a kidney transplant procedure for Ghanaian musician, DeeAja Music.

You would recall that DeeAja is the voice behind the ‘Onaapo’ hit song, which was used by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their campaign ahead of the 2016 elections.

DeeAja has been battling a kidney illness, and after an appeal made to the President and his brother Ibrahim Mahama, the President and Mr Ibrahim Mahama have promised to take full cost of the surgery and everything associated with it.

This was made known in a Facebook post by media personality and music executive Stephen Kenneth Nakujah on his official profile page.

He also shared a video of an interview he had with DeeAja Music on YouTube
