The old Ken fought, the new Ken will build – Kennedy Agyapong pledges

Outspoken politician Kennedy Agyapong says he is turning a new page in his political journey, promising to channel his energy into practical solutions rather than rhetoric.

In a message shared on social media, the Assin Central MP reflected on his reputation as a bold speaker who never shied away from controversy.

“You know me. You’ve heard me speak my mind for years. I’ve always spoken from the heart, sometimes with fire, because I love this country,” he stated.

According to him, experience has taught him that while passion can draw attention to problems, it takes a different set of skills to craft lasting solutions.

“But I’ve also listened. And I’ve come to understand that the skills needed to expose a problem are different from the skills needed to solve it,” he explained.

Quoting from Scripture, Mr. Agyapong likened his change of approach to a shift in season. “The Bible teaches us that there is a season for everything. My season of fiery talk has given way to a season of focused action,” he noted.

He concluded his message with a pledge of partnership and hope for Ghana’s future: “The old Ken fought for you. The new Ken will build with you to create a better Ghana for our youth and the next generation.”
