The Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team has arrested three suspects in the Dabala and Sogakope areas of the Volta Region for allegedly impersonating high-profile public officials on social media.
According to authorities, the suspects posed as the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, the Inspector
General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, and other well-known figures to deceive and defraud unsuspecting victims online.
Investigations into the case are ongoing.
