Volta Lake Boat Accident: Jane Naana commiserates with bereaved families

Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has commiserated with families that lost their loved ones in the boat accident on the Volta Lake.

15 people including 11 children lost their lives in a boat accident on the Volta Lake near Kerr Karachi.

In a social media post, the Vice president extended her condolences to the bereaved families.

She reminded them that she and the government stands with them in these trying times.

Her post read “We are deeply saddened by the tragic boat accident on the Volta Lake near Kete Krachi that has claimed the lives of 15 people, including 11 children.

On behalf of the Government of Ghana, I extend heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the affected community, and all who have been impacted by this tragedy. We stand with you in this moment of grief”.
