We will resist every individual who intimidates us – Kennedy

Presidential hopeful Kennedy Agyapong has warned against what he sees as rising intimidation within party circles as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gears up for its January 2026 presidential primaries.

Addressing supporters at the Team Ken USA Annual Gala 2025 in New York, the outspoken MP condemned alleged attempts by some individuals within the party’s US branch to use law enforcement to silence dissenting voices.

“You are in America, and your own police in America are threatening you to support somebody? How?” he questioned passionately.

“We cannot use intimidation to devolve our country. We have to be bold and speak the truth. What is wrong is wrong, what is right is right.”

Agyapong emphasized that neither he nor his supporters would be cowed into submission. “No man born of a woman will threaten Kennedy Agyapong, and I will chicken out.

“Be bold. We are also born of a woman. Let’s face the truth once and for all. We will resist every individual who will intimidate us,” he declared to loud applause.

His comments signal a refusal to back down from internal power struggles and a clear stance against what he describes as undemocratic behaviour.
