As the campaign heats up in the Akwatia Constituency ahead of the September 2, 2025, by-election, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah is expected to be in the constituency today.
The Chief of Staff is expected to meet all stakeholders, including chiefs and elders in the constituency.
After which, he will hit the streets of Akwatia to campaign for the National Democratic Congress’s Benard Bediako Baidoo Esq.
The presence of the Chief of Staff is to help invigorate the energy at the base and whip up interest in the impending elections.
The Akwatia by-elections became imperative after the Member of Parliament, Ernest Kumi, died six months after the 2024 elections.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is hopeful of maintaining the seat in memory of the late Ernest Kumi.
