A violent clash has occurred in Mpasaaso Number 2 in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region, leaving two suspected thugs dead and another person severely injured.

While residents claimed they had no idea what triggered the deaths, they reported waking up to see the three men on the street, with two already dead.

Speaking on the Ghanakoma morning show on Akoma 87.9FM in Kumasi with Sir John on Friday, November 14, 2025, the Youth Leader of Mpasaaso Number 2, Kojo Asare, said the deceased had been engaging in violent activities in the area.

“We received a distress call from some neighbours who discovered the lifeless bodies, and upon getting to the scene, I saw two dead bodies with gun wounds and one other battling for his life,” he stated.

One of the deceased, identified as Borga, was reportedly a leader of the group involved in violent activities.

Asare said Borga was shot by attackers, citing a gunshot wound to the head. “The deceased himself was holding a gun at the scene, but he was also butchered with his wrists cut off,” he added.

Police officers have taken over the scene to investigate the incident.
