The Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has urged staff of the Osu Tax Service Centre to scale up their efforts in domestic revenue mobilisation. Bekwai Subrisu, Western Region – December 9, 2025 The National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations (NAIMOS) Taskforce has arrested two Chinese nationals for engaging in illegal mining activities that have severely polluted sections of the Subri River at Bekwai Subrisu in the Western Region. The arrests were made on Monday, December 8, 2025, at about 10:30 a.m., when NAIMOS troops carried out targeted raids on illegal mining sites at Subrisu.
