The Mortuaries and Funeral Facilities Agency (MoFFA) has issued a directive to all unlicensed mortuaries and funeral homes, both public and private to regularize their operations within a week from the date of its notice. Residents of Adumasa in the Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti Region are living in fear following an armed robbery attack on gold buyers in the area. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, left six residents with gunshot injuries. According to Hon. One person has been confirmed dead and others injured following a shooting incident linked to a chieftaincy dispute at Ahwerease near Aburi in the Akuapem South District of the Eastern Region. The Ghana Police Service has arrested five suspects and rescued fifty-seven (57) Nigerian nationals from a human trafficking and cybercrime syndicate in Accra. According to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the suspects, identified as Joel Nosa, Collins Rotimi, Shadrack Lulu, Austin Amahuaro, and John Uloko, were arrested during an intelligence-led operation at Adom Estates, Community 25.
