Fred Oware has said the former Vice President remains the overwhelming choice of the party’s grassroots.
The Senior Advisor to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 presidential candidate, noted that if the NPP’s flagbearer election were held today, Dr. Bawumia would win by a landslide.
“From the support we continue to see across the country, there is no doubt that if the election were held today, Dr Bawumia would win massively.
His message continues to resonate, and our delegates know the future of the NPP is safe with him,” he said in an interview on Pure FM on Wednesday, August 27.
Oware emphasized that the Vice President’s strong performance and dedication have strengthened his backing among delegates.
“The delegates and the ordinary Ghanaian can testify to the work he has done. That is why his support base has only grown stronger since the primaries,” he added.
He called on party members to unite behind Dr. Bawumia as the campaign intensifies.
“This is the time for us to rally behind our candidate. Unity is our strength, and with Dr Bawumia at the helm, the NPP is poised for success,” Oware said.
According to the senior advisor, Dr. Bawumia’s popularity and the trust he commands among delegates position him as the party’s clear frontrunner as the race toward the 2024 elections heats up.
