A major blow has been dealt to cybercrime networks in Ghana following a coordinated nighttime operation that led to the arrest of 48 suspected cybercrime operatives in the Dawhenya area of the Ningo-Prampram Constituency.
The intelligence-led raid was carried out by the Cyber Security Authority Ghana, working closely with
National Security and the Ghana Police Service.
Authorities say the operation targeted the core of organised cybercrime activities in the area, reaffirming the government’s commitment to protecting Ghana’s digital space and restoring confidence in the country’s cyber ecosystem. Investigations are ongoing as law enforcement agencies move to dismantle the networks behind these operations.
