Fameye Unveils New Musical Alter Ego ‘Antonio’

Ghanaian artiste, Fameye, is stepping into a fresh artistic era with the unveiling of a new alter ego he calls Antonio.

He shared the news in an interview with TV3, hinting that Antonio will headline his upcoming wave of music releases. Drawing inspiration from his father’s career in law enforcement, Fameye says the character reflects a police officer’s son, right down to his new look.

“There is something coming up, if you see my new look. My father is a policeman, so I’m beginning to look like the child of a police officer. This look is called Antonio, watch out for this character because it’s going to be crazy out here in Ghana,” he explained.

Antonio, he revealed, will take the reins from “Peter,” another persona he introduced in 2023. That earlier character helped shape his creative output over the past year, but Antonio, he believes, carries a deeper force.

“Antonio is from the spirit. He comes from deep within me, and he takes over from Peter. So watch out for him,” Fameye stated.
