Ghanaian actress and TV personality Nana Ama McBrown has shared rare insight into her traditional marriage, divorce, and the mutual respect she still maintains with her husband. Speaking on TV3 on December 17, 2025, McBrown explained that she prefers to keep divorce private and free from public drama.
According to her, continuing to wear her wedding ring is a personal decision rooted in respect and the understanding she still shares with her husband. She described him as a gentleman who has never insulted or laid hands on her, stressing that even when marriages face challenges, dignity and peace should come first.
“I can’t fight with a man I had my child with,” she said, adding that while marriage isn’t always rosy, respect should never be lost.
