Former NPP General Secretary John Boadu has hinted at recruiting Shatta Wale to help the party connect with Ghana’s youth ahead of the 2028 elections.
Speaking on JoyNews, Boadu said Shatta Wale’s huge influence among young people could help spread the party’s message beyond traditional rallies.
“If possible, why not? You can get other people out as well,” he noted, adding that the focus should be on meeting the youth where they are rather than forcing them into political spaces.
He emphasized that the NPP must do more to engage young voters meaningfully, not just through campaign songs but by making them feel recognized and valued within the party.
