An immigration officer identified as Richard Kwabena Mensah Kwafo has been filmed assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Dorothy Laryea.
This case has begun attracting public attention following the circulation of a video on social media.
According to Dorothy Laryea, she endured repeated abuse and threats during her relationship with the officer and this is why she eventually ended her relationship with him for her own safety.
According to the lady, the abuse is still continuing even after their breakup.
Dorothy further stated that on December 31, 2025, after attending a church service at The Church of Pentecost, Dr. Wyatt Assembly, Kokomlemle, she saw Richard on the church premises.
She claims he arrived in a blue-black Toyota Corolla without a number plate and demanded that she speak with him privately.
While details surrounding what transpired afterwards remain unclear, a new video that has since surfaced online shows community youths confronting the immigration officer, demanding answers for why he assaulted his former partner.
In the footage, the youths are seen questioning his alleged actions, with tensions visibly high.
