Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah has slammed the government’s plan to construct a new express road, claiming it shows misplaced priorities.
Speaking in Parliament, he highlighted that the 2015–2016 NDC administration failed to add a single kilometer of road from Accra to Paga.
Boamah argued that instead of starting new projects, the government should focus on completing the dualisation of the Accra-Kumasi road, a project initiated by the Kufuor-Akufo Addo administration.
He went further to say that Kumasi doesn’t need an express road; a single layer of coaltar would suffice.
