John Odartey Lamptey, the man seen in a viral video physically assaulting his wife, has been remanded into police custody.
He is set to appear in court again on December 3, 2025, facing charges of physical assault under Sections 1(b) (i) and 3(2) of the Domestic Violence Act, 2007.
Two others, Louis Odartey Lamptey and Kushie Lamptey, have also been charged with conspiracy to commit a crime after allegedly attempting to attack a female tenant believed to have recorded the viral video.
