A woman identified only as Esinam is considering taking her ex-boyfriend to court, not for money or property, but for time.

After a five-year relationship that ended abruptly, Esinam says she feels used and heartbroken.

According to her, she dedicated herself fully to the relationship, cooking, cleaning, and attending to her partner’s personal needs, all while remaining loyal despite having other suitors ready to marry her.

“I stayed faithful. I took care of him. I gave him everything,” she said. “And now he just walks away as if nothing happened.”

Now, she’s seeking legal advice on whether she can sue him for “wasting five years of her life.”
Her case has sparked mixed reactions online. Some sympathize with her pain, arguing that time is indeed valuable and should not be taken for granted.

Others, however, point out that relationships are not legally binding contracts and that heartbreak, however painful, isn’t grounds for a lawsuit.

Whether Esinam has a strong case or not, one thing is certain: her story has struck a chord with anyone who has ever felt that love, once given, deserved better in return.
