An old video featuring Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, leader of the Ajagurajah Movement, has resurfaced following the death of Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, showing the spiritual leader predicting extraordinary events that would accompany the automaker’s passing.

In the previously recorded interview discussing Kantanka’s legacy, Ajagurajah made specific prophecies about what would occur upon the industrialist’s death: “Write this somewhere; it will rain for 3 days from the moment the man dies. Jot this somewhere, it will rain for 3 days. The earth will open at the place his remains would be kept.”

When questioned about why these events would transpire, Ajagurajah simply stated, “The man (Safo Kantanka) is a spirit.”

The video’s circulation comes as Ghana mourns the passing of the celebrated preacher, technological innovator, philanthropist, agriculturalist, and industrialist, who was widely known as “Kantanka, the African Star.”

The Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church confirmed that Apostle Safo died peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025, though the announcement was made public on Sunday, September 14. The statement, signed by his daughter and former Dome Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo, described him as a “gallant son” whose legacy was shaped by his life struggles, dreams, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

The family has requested privacy during their mourning period, with details regarding burial and funeral arrangements expected to be announced in coming days.
