Nigerian TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, plans to skip his secondary school reunion.
He was excluded from a WhatsApp group created by classmates for graduation preparations.
A dress code was established for the event, but Peller was unaware of it until the event revealed the group.
Nigerian TikTok star and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, explained why he plans to skip his secondary school reunion, three years after graduating.
Peller recounted that during preparations for their graduation, his classmates created a WhatsApp group and set a dress code but deliberately left him out. He only discovered the group when it was accidentally revealed at the event, by which time he had already shown up in a different outfit.
The incident left a lasting impression on him. Fast forward to 2025, Peller, now a well-known figure in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, noted that the same classmates who ignored him back then suddenly reached out to include him in reunion plans.
In response, Peller suggested they hold the reunion in South Africa a move seen as a subtle clapback for their earlier exclusion. “Let’s do it in South Africa,” he said he told them, noting that he has not received a reply.
He also mentioned leaving the WhatsApp group because, in his words, “they couldn’t keep a rich man waiting.”
A video of Peller discussing his decision to skip the reunion has been shared online.
