ITALY – A disturbing video that has sparked widespread outrage on social media captures a fatal road accident involving a motorcyclist and a Honda car.
According to reports accompanying the footage, the incident occurred when a blue Honda knocked down a motor rider under circumstances that are still being investigated.
The motorcyclist fell off his bike and got trapped beneath the moving vehicle.
The clip shows the driver still driving at high speed for some distance instead of stopping immediately and dragging the victim along the road.
The motor rider reportedly succumbed to his injuries before the vehicle eventually came to a halt.
It is further alleged that after stopping, the driver fled the scene without offering assistance to the victim, turning the tragic accident into a suspected hit-and-run case.
Italian authorities are said to be investigating the incident, with efforts underway to identify and apprehend the driver involved.
