Kofi Kinaata has opened up about the impressive speed and professionalism behind Sarkodie’s contribution to his new song, “Have Mercy 2.”
In an interview on Hitz FM on December 9, 2025, Kinaata revealed that when he reached out to Sarkodie for a verse, the rapper was in the middle of a photoshoot — yet still didn’t hesitate to help.
According to him, Sarkodie simply told him:
“Give me five hours.”
To Kinaata’s surprise, the verse arrived the very next morning.
He added that Sarkodie practically saved the day, as fans had been demanding part two of the song for months. The quick turnaround has sparked admiration from fans, who continue to applaud Sarkodie’s consistency, discipline, and work ethic.
