The online drama between TikToker Lopez and Old Tafo MP Vincent Ekow Assafuah has taken a sudden and unexpected turn.

Just days after she went viral with claims that the MP had dated her while secretly planning his wedding, Lopez has deleted all the videos and issued a public apology.

As of March 11, 2026, her TikTok account no longer contains any trace of the allegations.

In a new video, she explained that her decision was driven by fear, not regret over telling the truth, but fear for her safety.
“I started receiving threatening messages in my DMs,” she revealed.

“I know Vincent Ekow Assafuah is a good man. Please do not harm me. I have taken the videos down.”
She also addressed the MP directly, saying, “Honourable, I apologise so warmly for posting the video.
You said you don’t know me, so let’s just go with that information.”

Lopez added that she intends to focus her social media presence on her business going forward and will not speak on the issue again.
The reversal has sparked mixed reactions. Some believe she was genuinely intimidated into silence.

Others think the threats prove her story had some truth to it.
Either way, the saga appears to have reached a quiet, and unsettling, end.
